*Digital retinal imaging uses high-resolution imaging systems to take pictures of the inside of your eye. This helps VSP network doctors assess the health of your retina and helps them to detect and manage eye and health conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma, hypertension, and macular degeneration. Finding retinal disorders as early as possible is critical to potentially preventing serious disease progression and even vision loss.

Using a VSP Individual Vision Plan is easy. First, choose the vision plan that best fits your needs—whether an individual vision plan or a family vision plan for you and your loved ones. Then, visit an eye doctor, (going in-network will help you get the most from your benefits) to receive an eye exam. If vision correction is needed, your eye doctor can provide you a prescription and help pick glasses or contacts to best fit your style. You pay your vision insurance copay at the eye doctor’s office along with any added options outside of your VSP vision plan coverage. The eye doctor’s office will take care of processing your benefit claims.
Yes! VSP offers family vision plans that provide affordable vision coverage for spouses, children, and dependents. When enrolling, simply select a VSP family plan to cover your entire household under one affordable policy. If a family member doesn’t have vision insurance, you can also purchase an individual vision plan for them.
VSP Vision Care does not coordinate benefits with other medical insurance plans. However, your VSP family plan or individual vision plan can be used alongside your health insurance for comprehensive eye care.
Making an eye exam appointment is easy. Go to Find a Doctor and pick any eye doctor you’d like. At your eye exam, tell them you have VSP vision insurance, and they’ll take care of the rest. To get the most out of your VSP vision plan benefits, visit a Premier Program practice.
When you visit a VSP network eye doctor, there are no claim forms to submit. However, if you choose an out-of-network provider, you may incur higher out-of-pocket costs and need to submit a claim form with itemized receipts for reimbursement.
Most large chain optical centers—such as Costco, Walmart, and Cohen’s—are not in-network for VSP family vision plans or VSP individual plans purchased through VSPDirect.com. If you visit an out-of-network provider, you’ll need to submit your own claims and will be reimbursed at out-of-network rates, which may be lower than in-network coverage.
Typical savings for VSP members is $356!* There are different vision plan copays and coverage options depending on the VSP plan you choose. If you select a lens enhancement that isn't covered with a copay, you'll still receive 20% savings on that option at the eye doctor's office. Below you'll find an example of the typical VSP vision plan savings you can expect on an annual plan.
Example Savings* | What You Would Pay | ||
---|---|---|---|
Without a plan | With a VSP plan | Savings | |
Comprehensive Exam | $205 | $15 | $190 |
Frames | $244 | $75 | $169 |
Rx Lenses | $111 | $25 | $86 |
Optional Lens Enhancements i.e. scratch resistant, anti-glare etc. |
$268 | $153 | $115 |
Annual VSP Plan Cost | $204 | -$204 | |
Total | $828 | $472 | $356 |

You can use your VSP Individual Vision Plan benefits the same day you enroll. There's no waiting period. After you enroll, you can start using your benefits immediately!
Yes, but if you use your plan out-of-network, you may incur higher out of pocket costs. You'll also need to complete a claim form and include any itemized receipts. Out-of-network coverage is not available in Massachusetts and Washington, and coverage varies in Maryland. If you have questions about out-of-network coverage, contact us at 800.785.0699.

Easy to use VSP and my preferred office accepts VSP - no problems
I re-enrolled in VSP because I love the payment plan and the credit to use for paying for my contacts.
I had VSP when I was working and signed up to continue it when I retired. It's worth it for my annual exam and for new glasses.
VSP saves me money all of the time and is very easy to work with. Always happy to have them.
When I retired and lost coverage from my company, I was concerned I would not have coverage. I signed up for the VSP plan and used it for the first time. It was equivalent to the coverage I received from the work policy. I was thrilled that I didn't have to pay more on my personal policy!!
I'm enrolled in VSP because I'm retired. The last pair of glasses I got I paid only fifty dollars on them. I was extremely satisfied with my policy. My wife paid the same also. The only reason we had to pay any additional was we had protection added to our lenses.
I am so thankful to have this vision insurance. I've had great experiences with this plan and how it has helped my family and myself have the best vision possible. I have a family history of eye issues. My mom lost her vision, due to a bleed in her optic nerve in her late 80's, and I want to be sure I get mine taken care of so I can be monitored for anything similar.
I'm so glad I have my VSP plan. I'm able to get my annual eye exam, nice frames and prescription lenses at an affordable price.
Joining this VSP plan has taken a good toll on my life because it gives me the chance to keep up with my eye sight health at an affordable rate.
I have only used it once but it was great. It covered more than any other eye insurance I have ever had.
My daughter recently needed glasses and the benefits I have through VSP made it possible for us to purchase not one, but two pairs of glasses for her before school started. Thank you!
I'm retired and I had the plan when I was an employee at the hospital so I continued the plan afterwards. It works out great for me.
I have been with VSP for a great amount of years. I had it thru my employer and company folded, but I still keep it and pay for each month. I have not had any problems with getting an eye exam and also paying for glasses. It is great with the amount they give you to spend.
I wear progressives and VSP saves me money on the lens, the special coatings and frames. I also save on the annual exam. The doctor's office knows VSP and explains my benefits so I get the best deals on glasses. I pay about a third of what I would have to pay out of pocket.
I had VSP through my employer so when I retired I chose to buy my private policy because of the value.
I started purchasing my own VSP vision coverage because #1 was cheaper than thru my employer; #2 I could go after January 1st every year (did not have to wait one full year between eye exams); #3 could get new frames every year (instead of every other year). Also save a lot on out of pocket expense on new glasses, even though I have the cheaper plan. Worth every penny !!!! Highly recommend!
I really appreciate the help with my eye care and the ease of getting my prescription for my glasses. Thanks for your care and coverage.
I retired and had no eye care. When I started my Social Security, I knew I had to find some insurance since I wear glasses. I researched some carriers and decided I'd go with something I knew. I had VSP while working and was happy to find I could get individual coverage. They have saved me a few hundred dollars already this year. I would tell anyone looking for eye care coverage-check out VSP. They have various levels of coverage to choose from and it is well worth the premium.
My VSP plan allows me to continue with my doctor and there glasses. Without VSP, the costs would cause most to move away to a more discount eye care and lose the premium eye care they could receive.
Have had this plan for years. Always saves me money, but best of all a very established and beyond excellent doctor takes VSP!
This is a great plan. Saves me a lot of money cause I live on a fixed income. Couldn't ask for anything better.
Took VSP insurance because my employer had offered VSP. So once I retired it was natural for me to enroll in VSP insurance. So many eye care centers accept VSP insurance in my area that it makes it easy to use. Highly recommend VSP eye insurance to anyone.
When I retired, transitioned from company vision insurance to VSP. The best part about the transition is that I saw no reduced coverage and I kept my vision provider. And the annual cost of VSP is very affordable!
Generally, you see a stark difference between the employer sponsored plan and individual ones. I am happy to see that this is not the case with VSP. I've used both types of plans and they are affordable, allow me to remain with my Optometrist and the coverage is equally good. Using VSP employed, or not, ensures my vision remains in good health.
I have went so long without glasses and I couldn't drive at night. When I found out about VSP I was able to get some really nice glasses at a very affordable price and I'm able to also add my wife to my plan so she can get hers.
VSP gave me access to an eye doctor that my work insurance did not. So I enrolled the family - and it has been working out great! I have access to a doctor I like, I get a great deal on glasses and lenses!!
Very happy with the cost and the benefits. Being able to get my eyes checked and new glasses every year is a step from my old plan through my employer. It's great knowing that when my eyesight changes, I can change my glasses as well.
We had VSP with my husband's job before retirement. MEDICARE does not cover eyecare. VSP covers better now than it did with with his employment! The monthly premium is manageable on our retirement income.
I am so glad I and my wife have my plan. I paid nothing except a monthly $24 statement and without it we would have paid over $1000 we would not have been able to afford our lenses (the most expensive part) and our eyesight would have suffered for it.
I was so glad that Visionworks sent me the information about VSP. I filled out the information and I was accepted right there. I was so happy that I made my appointment the same day. Without VSP I don't know how I was going to get new glasses. I was past my time to get new ones.
I had to get my individual VSP Plan. For as long as I can remember I've always been able to use VSP Vision Plans through Employment and my husband's VSP Plans with his employer and always saved money and gotten great eyecare. To us VSP Plan can't be beat..once you use the VSP Plan you can't live without it. So when I couldn't work anymore and get the VSP Plan I inquired about the individual VSP Plans and got a reasonable rate on my own..I love it and will continue to have a VSP Plan on my own and the Opticians that accept VSP Plans are great too!
Since I'm on a fixed income I enrolled because it fits my monthly budget. When it comes time to be seen I know exactly what I pay in deductible and exactly what my benefit covers. I am 100% satisfied with VSP! I just renewed my policy as I have for 5+ years.
Would likely have to go without corrective lenses if I didn't have this plan. The office already had my benefits pulled up. Very smooth!
Have had a VSP individual plan for several years. It has enabled us to get yearly eye exams and new glasses when needed. The plan has saved us a lot of money over the years.
I enrolled because I had a plan through a previous employer and my current job didn't offer a plan. I knew how great the plan was and what a savings when needing an exam and new glasses. It was very affordable also. I had a recent exam and was very pleased.
VSP has been good for us because it made things so much easier to pay for our glasses, frames and lenses. Thank you for your plan!
We are retired and Medicare Advantage only has minimal coverage for vision. Our VSP plan covers so much more and makes glasses affordable. We were paying close to $1,000 each for glasses. With VSP my last ones were under $200. Great plan at reasonable price.
It's an amazingly affordable plan that covers everything! Going to the eye doctor and using VSP is the only time I feel like health insurance is simple and helpful!
My prescription usually needs to be updated annually, and VSP saves me at least $200 more than what I pay in premiums every year. If you wear glasses, VSP is a must-have!
I enrolled for couple of reasons: My husband's employer had changed plans and made it to where we could only see certain doctors in our area (None of them that we liked). I decided to look into purchasing a plan on my own to allow us to keep our doctor. I am glad that I did as I actually have better coverage and am able to keep our doctor. We've actually had VSP for years and have never had an issue and have always been pleased. Plans are affordable and does save you money.
The staff is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. My doctor informs me of the status of my eyes and how to take care of them. He gives me options and allows me to make a decision.
Very professional and prompt. I have to go for an appointment twice a year because of health issues and they really helped out. Thank you.
Took an early retirement but have to pay for my own health, dental, and vision insurance. I have had VSP now for few years and use Visionworks for my annual checkups, retinal scans, glaucoma test, contacts, and eyewear. The locations and hours are convenient and the exams are thorough.
My husband and I had no insurance to cover eye care. With VSP over half of the expenses were covered. The premium was so affordable. VSP would notify me when it was time for another exam. I will never look for any other coverage. Never a hassle, it just gets paid. I feel that VSP looks out for me. Now that I am a widowed senior means so much to me.
VSP is amazing. Great for you, spouse and for the whole family. It's cheap and you get the care you need. It's a win for everyone!
I've been very pleased with my VSP plan! This plan affords me to be able to get the glasses I want!
VSP does help save my money. I have had with VSP for 2 years and I will continue use them. I would recommend them to anyone. Keep up good work and look forward to see improvement. Thank you.
VSP is perfect for me. I had to retire early because of health issues, it's perfect for me. Low cost makes it affordable and covers my eye care needs.
We are retired so have to purchase our own vision insurance. Our doctor said VSP is the best and we've been happy with it for a few years.
I've saved so much money on eyeglasses and eye exams thanks to this plan. Really helpful and appreciated, as my employer does not offer a vision plan.
I am happy that I have this plan, I purchased it when I retired and no longer had eye care insurance. It pays well and the eye glasses that they offer are top brand for a great price.
My plan saved me a lot of money on my eye exam, frames and lenses. I gave my account information to the billling dept and they were able to instantly tell me how much of the bill was my mine to pay. There was no delay in VSP paying their share.
I wouldn't go without vision insurance. I got the VSP ins. for my wife and myself, it's the greatest. Even our doctor's office told us that it was the best. VSP saves us around $1300.00 annually.
My company had VSP and it was great so when I retired I enrolled in their eye care plan. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend VSP to everyone.
I had to wait to have my eyes examined because I couldn't afford to have it done. When a friend told me about VSP I looked into it. I found I could afford to go to an eye dr. When I had my eyes examined the dr. told me I would not have passed at the DMV eye test. So glad I went to VSP. Thank you.
I enrolled because Vision is not offered at work, and I had an appointment scheduled. I chose VSP because of the vast network of providers, pricing, and how quickly I was able to get coverage.
I love having VSP. Providers are familiar with it, no tons of questions about it. Processing it is a smooth transaction. VSP timely and communication with them is fantastic.
We enrolled because we are self employed and it is very cost effective with great benefits for our family. I wish they had Dental.
I am thankful for this plan. It has saved me money and has been a God send for my vision. I lost my glasses and they were replaced at no charge. That was a blessing for sure. Thank You.
The vision plan offered by my supplement insurance was more expensive and offered less coverage. I have been with VSP for several years now and am extremely pleased with my plan.
I needed eye care insurance and VSP was so easy to understand and enroll in. The plan saved me on my new glasses and even offered a promotional rebate. Thank you!
I have had VSP as an eye plan for over 10 years. I am always surprised at how little my bill is after an eye exam and purchasing eye glasses. The cost fits my budget.
I am an enrollee in the individual plan for VSP because I am a college student with a unique eye description: far-sighted in one and near-sighted in the other. I need the BEST coverage and VSP offers it.
I am very happy with everything about our eye care plan. It helps a lot to bring down the cost of new eyeglasses with a new prescription after a full eye exam and testing. Our provider is a mile away and great! Thank you.
I'm on disability, but while I was working I had coverage through your company and I loved it! Just this past July I was able to order myself a pair of new glasses and I absolutely love them.
We enrolled because we are on Medicare and needed eye care insurance. Once enrolled, we were able to get our eyes examined the next day! I would recommend VSP to anyone who needs eye care coverage.
I enrolled in the VSP plan because I do not have vision coverage through my employer. With my plan, I am able to purchase quality eye wear at an affordable price. The last 2 years I was even given a rebate after purchasing select eyeglasses. Eye exams are covered and I am able to choose a dr of my liking through VSP's large list of providers.
As a retired senior, the plan has helped me afford my yearly testing for glaucoma and cataracts, plus allows new frames and sunglasses! It's great!!
I had VSP through my employer, so I knew the value of the coverage. When I retired, I found the individual plan very reasonable. I wear daily contact lenses and I like that I get at least one box covered a year.
I am thankful for this insurance. I am a single mom with 2 kids and it covers what we need well since two of us have glasses.
I was happy that my eye doctor accepts the plan, eye wear and lenses are expensive, with the VSP plan I definitely had saved money.
I enrolled in VSP's plan for good eye care and wear. I get new lenses every 12 to 18 months. I get sunglasses and this year I purchased swimming glasses. Now I can see better when I go swimming instead of running a chance in damaging my regular glasses.
Enrolled once I went on Medicare & my supplement didn't have vision coverage. This plan is 1000 times better than the plan that covered me through my employer.
Got VSP when I retired. Over the last few years it had saved me thousands. Because of VSP I can keep up with my eye health, which is so important.
After my VSP plan expired from my job when I retired, I continued to stay with VSP and the prices are the same as when I was working. In addition, having the insurance helps in being able to buy glasses each year if I choose. I just wish the frames that are available today were much less expensive. Wish VSP would offer their own stylish frames at a much more reasonable price. Lastly, I'm very happy to continue seeing my eye doctor, who is very knowledgeable and who I have been with for more than 20 yrs. Thanks VSP for not gouging us with enormous price increases. It's smart health care.
VSP has helped me sooooo much since I am retired and on a fixed income while still getting exactly what I need with glasses.
I am able to afford my eyeglasses and exam with the discount VSP provides. I paid $265 and without VSP it would had been more than I could afford.
I have been with VSP for quite sometime now. I enrolled in VSP through my job in 2018 or 2019 and has had it ever since. They are very affordable and customer support is very good.
I have had VSP for several years and have been pleased that my costs have been covered completely except for co Psy and if I have picked out glasses that cost more than the plan covers.
I highly recommend VSP. This insurance has saved me thousands of dollars and the process is so easy. From cataract surgery to just my yearly eye exams, I couldn't be more pleased..
I am retired. I feel very blessed to have my VSP Plan. My eye Dr made a referral for Visual impairment services for additional assistance. I love my new glasses and am very pleased.
I had eye insurance until I retired, than I was dropped from their plan and had to look for another insurance plan. I was told about VSP and immediately sign up. It's been very good insurance, covering most, if not all of my eye care needs. When my husband retired (from the same company), I added him as a member too. We are thankful for VSP and their easy way of covering our eyecare needs.
It's very true this is the first time I have insurance for my eyes. It's so nice to have this VSP plan not too expensive it and covers all. I have a nice frame for me and my wife my son. I pay almost nothing for all three. Thank you VSP.
I am very happy with my plan. I can get the frames I like which are totally covered by my plan. Also, it has saved me a lot of money on my glasses which as a retired senior on a fixed income I need all the help I can get. My monthly plan cost is very affordable, I am so glad I have the coverage.
I enrolled because I didn't have coverage for eye vision care. It's very affordable and really helped keep the cost of yearly vision cost. I had been in the same glasses for at least five years until I found out about VSP. It's been a real game changer for me. I'm 71 yrs old and Medicare doesn't help at all on vision care. Thank you VSP!
We are Retired and needed eyecare insurance since Medicare doesn't cover it. VSP has been a God sent for both my husband and me. Our out of pocket costs are very little.
I previously had VSP coverage with a previous employer and it was great coverage. When my situation changed with coverage, I looked into the individual plans offered and was pleasantly surprised at the low cost for coverage. It's been 4 years now and I can't imagine not paying for my own coverage to assure I don't get burden with out of pocket costs.
Well worth having. The insurance cost is worth it. Benefits are realized immediately upon my visits to my eye care doctor.
I have had VSP for over 20 years, thru employers and currently my own policy. The copay and actual cost of glasses and contacts is very reasonable. I have never had a charge denied. Great plan and would recommend to anyone looking for an individual policy.
I am retired now and needed a Vision Plan so chose this one as this is the plan I had when I was working, and I was very happy with it. It has saved me so much money so I am very pleased.
I retired early a couple of years ago and needed to find a vision plan that would work for me. When I was actively working all my employers offered VSP so I knew the product and benefits well. I was so pleased to learn that VSP also offered an individual vision plan for those of us without a company sponored plan. I've used the plan a few times now for my annual visits, frames and lenses without any problems. The plan is also very affordable. I'm very happy with the plan and intend to keep it!
I'm over 65 and have a Medicare vision plan but it doesn't allow me to go to the eye doctor that I have been seeing forever. VSP allows me to go to my eye doctor and because of this insurance I am able to afford new glasses when I need them.
VSP helped me get the eye frames I wanted. I don't know how I would have paid. They are a tremendous help to get what you need and want. I highly recommend having VSP
I got VSP through my place of employment. Even though it was not paid by employer. But I purchased it ony own. Myself, and son were on my policy. He wore contacts and myself glass. I automatically noticed the savings. I later add my husband, and dropped my son because he has it through his job. Best insurance I've had. I recommend it to anyone.
It has been 17 years since I upgraded my glasses prescription. I REALLY needed to, so I shopped around for a couple weeks. VSP ended up being the best bet for my needs and money. I paid the whole year upfront (at an INCREDIBLY LOW PRICE) and got new glasses a couple of weeks later. Highly recommended!
I had VSP with my insurance when I worked. I retired and eye care was no longer a part of my insurance. VSP was so good before so I bought an individual policy. It is a very good value.
VSP has saved me money, I don't usually get regular lenses. My prescription is thick lense. Thanks to VSP, I can get my glasses with all of the bells and whistles and the glasses are made to look thin, which I do so appreciate.
I got VSP because I'm on Medicare & don't have vision insurance. I wear glasses & I needed help paying for my frames & lenses. VSP is awesome in paying for my annual vision check up with only a small co-pay and then it cut the cost of my frames to almost nothing with an allowance of $189. My lens have a lot of special needs, such as no-line bifocal, transition, scratch resistant, etc. The total coat of my glasses is about 1/3 of what they would be without VSP insurance.
Have had this plan through my husband for years. When he's not working no insurance. Tired of that happening so got this insurance on my own. I end up paying extra cause the plan doesn't pay for the mapping of the eye to avoid being dialated. But still glad I have it.
I enrolled and was so happy with my experience that I told my Best Friend about VSP and they enrolled as well and they are also very happy with their experience with the coverage provided. Thank You VSP!
After I retired from work, I no longer had vision insurance. Since 2021 I have purchased the VSP individual insurance plan which has helped me save money on the purchase of my glasses and seeing a quality eye doctor. The plan offers a wide range of quality eye doctors in your area.
I've had VSP for years thru my job but when I retired I wanted to keep VSP so I called and got the same plan I had and it was only a few dollars more than when I had it thru work. I only had to pay 100.00 for my readers, that's lens and frames and if I didn't have VSP I would have paid over 600.00. Love VSP!!!!!!!
Having VSP individual insurance ensures that not only won't I need to wear the same glasses for years, but I can get yearly exams. That's a big break for me. I also am happy to get a new look with frames.
I have had my plan for a number of years and have had nothing but great service. Any time I have had a question it has been answered with no problems. I would recommend them to anyone needing insurance.
I'm so glad to have the VSP Individual Plan! I've had the plan for several years now as my employer at the time didn't offer any vision plans and now being on Social Security every bit helps. My glasses would have cost me $320 and I paid $95!
I am retired on Social Security and didn't have a vision plan. I was able to find a qualified doctor in the VSP network and scheduled an appointment the week after I enrolled in the program. I was able to save VSP. I have macular degeneration and require injections in my eyes every month.
I have had VSP for several years probably about four or five and it has helped me with my eye appointments as well with my glasses. VSP is the real deal.
I had VSP when I worked, now that I am retired I have to get it again because my husband is not on Social Security so it would not be helpful to have 2 different insurances so when he retires which will be soon VSP is our eye insurance. I was happy with VSP and I am happy now.
We had VSP through my plan at work and was very pleased throughout the years, never a problem. Our eye care provider was a VSP member so, it was smooth each visit. When I retired, we were aware that this benefit would end from my employer but, we picked it up directly from VSP and selected a plan we felt would be best for us. So far, so good, we are very pleased at this time with the level of service from VSP and we are still using our provider.
VSP is worth every penny. An eye doctor examination is very expensive, but with my VSP account, it becomes very affordable. Add a pair of glasses, and it's a no-brainer. Plus, the customer service is top notch. I just now had to call CS for a problem. There was no wait time and the rep was on top of everything. The entire transaction took under 5 minutes. Way to go VSP!
My eye doctor told me about VSP. It is economical and my plan covers just about everything saving me a lot of money!
I would highly recommend VSP to everyone if you don't have a vision plan. This has been great and reasonably priced. I use for my contacts and I don't have to worry about it, quick and easy!
I am very pleased with VSP insurance. When a provider would not take back my glasses because of an error they committed; VSP said please don't worry we will take care of you. They did and I can't be more pleased with VSP.
On average each year VSP plan has saved between $700 and $1500 for us. The plan covers myself and husband. The selection of frames is great. Our eye doctor runs a number of tests being diabetic fine with me. Yearly eye exam $34. VSP is the best there is.
I enrolled in individual plan so that I can go to eye dr anytime during the year; and get new frames every year. My employer's plan was frames once every 2 years; and there has to be a full year between eye dr appointments. Price of individual coverage VERY affordable; and has great coverage. Highly recommend!
We've been VSP customers for over 20 years. We depend on their variety of services and dependability.
Saved nearly 500 dollars on my new glasses and great eye exam with test for 15 dollars. I'm pleased with VSP.
VSP was a good choice for our eye care and they are spot on in providing the proper coverage!! Would highly recommend them and have to many folks!!
I have never had vision insurance, and I have been wearing glasses for three decades. I was very grateful to have it as my glasses were affordable as was the exam.
I was looking for an affordable monthly plan, as I lack vision coverage at my place of employment and typically needed new prescriptions. For years I would pay as much as $300 to $400 just for one pair of glasses, no counting other expenses. With the plan I'm on, just last year I paid $90 for an annual exam, copay, and an extra pair of glasses. I'm pleased I made this decision and I like what VSP is about.
I enrolled after I lost insurance coverage due to unemployment, I was in a bind. I asked the doctor's office if there were any other options for insurance, and they provided the information, I made the call, and 30 days later, my son & I had coverage. Five years later, I am still a satisfied client. This has made a big difference. It is affordable, and the coverages are real (no surprises, no disappointment). The representatives on the the phone are HUMAN. It is so worth it. I strongly recommend VSP.
I'm grateful to have a plan for my vision since I wear glasses 24 seven since I was five years old. If I didn't have this vision plan, I'd be paying almost $1000 each year for my glasses.
